Haute Hijab has taught us a number of unique lessons that we quietly assumed but were hugely surprised by. The most memorable of those is the power of affinity! When a brand matches the people who it is **ideally** created for, it can fly.

Haute Hijab is an exciting fashion brand that takes aim at a frequented point of controversy and social judgement in the religion of Islam: the Hijab. The material or cloth that muslim women choose to wear to cover their hair. Given that it is such a point of contention, to create a *fashionable theme and brand* around it in a place where the heart of the contention would reside is not only difficult but requires courage.

Haute Hijab has not only embarked on the challenge but managed to develop a thriving brand identity and community. Haute Hijab wanted Facebook Addicts to help with the growth of online sales and extend their community engagement through Facebook Advertising.

We built a series of notable campaigns that would use the brand ambassador (Melanie) to connect with a wide audience of people through video and image. This mostly utilised a combination of video, image ads and carousel ads. Some of these ads are to provide useful content to a relevant audience. Other ads are for a purely commercial purpose. Those who engage with the useful content ads, would then be short listed and remarketed to through a variety of different channels.

This not only worked beautifully, but has become a sustainable automated model that can be managed simply through a series of pre-defined Facebook rules.
